  Conference fee

The conference registration fee is 4,500 CZK which is roughly 180 EU, 225 USD. The fee includes the Opening Banquet (including a string quartet concert), conference bag (including conference badge and your name tag), coffee breaks and four lunches from Tuesday through Friday in the cafeteria of the Faculty of Human Sciences, Charles University (including vegan meals, menu will be available in advance at this website). 

The paygate now seems to block standard amount of payments (and we have a winner of a bottle of wine for the most unlucky payer)  - if your payment did not go through the following  reasons seem to be most common:
1) GP Webpay, as it seems, does not accept the following cards - JCB (common in Japan), UnionPay, Discover, Troy. 

Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club, and American Express are supported.

2) Do not forget you (usually) need to confirm your payment in your bank app. The paygate is waiting for the confirmation to proceed with your payment - without it the time eventually runs out and your payment is blocked.

The receipts are also not generated properly. If you need a receipt urgently send a request to humeprague@flu.cas.cz (hopefully, this will also be fixed soon)

Opening banquet entry for accompanying person on Monday, 29 June 2026

This is a standalone entry just for the opening banquet on Monday for persons accompanying conference participants (family members, partners, friends etc.). For more on the banquet see the Social Activities section of the website. Conference participants have the cost of banquet included in their standard conference fee. There is no ticket

We will have a name tag and a conference badge ready for you at the conference registration on Monday noon which you or someone you designate (presumably the conference participant you are accompanying) can pick up during registration. Wearing them (at least for a while after entering the banquet) serves as a kind of ticket. If you are buying this entry for someone else, please state that persons name in the payment note so that we can prepare the name tag.

Conference dinner on Friday 3 July in Art Restaurant Mánes

If you would like to attend the conference dinner on Friday, July 3, you can purchase a ticket below. The price of the dinner is not included in the standard conference fee. The dinner will take place at Art Restaurant Mánes. For information about the dinner and the restaurant (included menu which also has vegetarian options) see the Social Activities section.

There is no ticket. After purchasing your dinner admission, please type in your name (or nickname) and select your preferred menu via the link in the Social Activities – Conference Dinner section of the website (we also have our own list of attendees based on you payments). We will send your menu selections to the restaurant shortly after the conference begins so that they can be ready for us when we arrive to the restaurant on Friday.
